Public Programmes

During exhibitions we run a regular Saturday Talk series at 3pm. These events are free and you will hear invited speakers responding to the work. Invited speakers are artists, curators, critics, collectors, educators and art commentators.

Easy Listening Talks in Art and Culture is a collaborative project by ARTSPACE, Elam School of Fine Arts and Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki which provides a platform for visiting artists and art professionals to give public talks and lectures in Auckland.

Each year we bring a number of International Visitors to tour the country with the help of Creative New Zealand.

In our  Reading Room next to the office visitors can come and browse a huge resource of local and international contemporary art publications. This is a one of a kind resource in Auckland that is free to view by anyone. As it is constantly updated and added to you will always find something of interest.
