ARTSPACE Volunteers
As a small organisation, ARTSPACE depends on many forms of community support. We are especially grateful to our team of volunteers who assist with exhibition installation and deinstallation, host visitors, and assist with gallery administration.
Our team includes both regular and casual volunteers. For those wishing to pursue a career in art galleries, ARTSPACE can offer valuable entry-level experience. Every year we take a number of tertiary students as interns for which they receive course credit (if you are interested in this, please speak with your course co-ordinator first).
ARTSPACE is also a friendly environment for people who have to fulfil community service obligations. We are extremely keen to recruit support from people with specific skills - carpenters, plasterers, electricians, etc.
