We are a 5 minute walk from the top of Queen Street and 20 minutes from downtown

K' Road

Artspace was the first gallery to move to Karangahape Road. Others have since followed. The New Zealand Film Archive, with its extensive public library of New Zealand film and gallery space is Artspace's tenant .

Ivan Anthony Gallery is opposite Artspace on the corner of Karangahape Road and East Street, and MIC Toi Rerehiko is across the road. Michael Lett and Starkwhite galleries and auction house Art+Object extend the circuit further along Karangahape Road.

Objectspace and Artstation at the top of Ponsonby Road, along with Two Rooms Gallery on Putiki St, just off Great North Road and Roger Williams Contemporary on Upper Queen Street expand the Newton area art circuit and provide more reasons to come to this part of town.
