Send applications to: Remco de Blaaij, Director,

Artspace NZ is a public contemporary art gallery located on Karangahape Road,

Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland. Within an expansive programme, we have presented exhibitions by local and international artists for 30 years.

During that time, Artspace NZ has become a significant leader in the field of contemporary art and culture for Aotearoa New Zealand.

Our core mission is to generate a dynamic open platform for risk-taking art practices, whilst  providing artists with a critical and non-commercial work space environment. We are dedicated to commissioning, producing and presenting new ideas in contemporary art in ways that are unique to Tāmaki Makaurau, to Aotearoa and to its audiences.

The Administrator  will work across all levels of Artspace, focusing on the smooth and responsible operation of the office, team and financial position of the institute.

We are seeking a highly responsible individual who has excellent communication abilities, understands day-to-day operations in a busy office and has contemporary knowledge on administration and accounting. The successful candidate will work efficient, precise, independently and proactively to ensure Artspace NZ long-term stability as well as the day-today operations.
